Biography

Iman Hajirasouliha is currently an associate professor of computational genomics at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Hajirasouliha has received a Ph.D. from Simon Fraser University, was a Postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University, and a Simons Research Fellow at the University of California Berkeley. Dr. Hajirasouliha focuses on developing new algorithms and machine learning techniques and their applications to genomics, biomedicine, and In Vitro Fertilization. Dr. Hajirasouliha enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and spending time in the mountains in his free time.
